Hello, my name is Michael Nolan and I am a Sophomore Computer Engineering student at Kennesaw State University. My interests include programming, hardware design, electronics and amateur radio.
- My CPU design, the D16
- A JIT Emulator for the D16
- My directed study research project involving a dsPIC33F
- Some experiments with PIC18 assembly
I got interested in ham radio after listening to a couple repeaters near me on an RTL-SDR, and got my General license in July. A couple months later, I saw somebody asking if someone wanted to help him restart the Southern Polytechnic amateur radio club, and I ended up as vice president. In the past several months, the club has upgraded the office, installed new antennas, held a soldering class, installed a repeater, and most recently received a grant from the ARRL to bring amateur radio to the next generation of hams.
